My friend Fitz shared a link that featured ink wash paintings by Taiwan based artist Rola Chang. I must say I love her style. This one's my favorite. That's Ryu from Streetfighter.
Ink wash painting is a very old form of art and to see it applied on contemporary subjects, like manga or anime characters, is such a delight. My favorites by Rola Chang are those depicting oriental warriors. She has a gallery on DeviantArt. She's known there as Jungshan. Check it out!
