Kung Hei Fat Choi!

I just love this charming old school Chinese painting I found at China Guardian Auctions. Perfect for the occasion. Only, it's the year of the black snake and not the red snake. =P

So have you guys read about what's in store for you in the Year of the Water Snake? I read about mine at ChineseAstrologyOnline.Com. I find this website quite accurate and authentic (just excuse the English). Not only does it give you your horoscope based on your animal sign but also a separate forecast based on your birth element and your lucky element. They have an engine that can determine your lucky element. Just enter the date of your birth including the exact time. Check your medical birth certificate if you don't remember the time. ^_^

I was born on the year of the Wood Rabbit, by the way. Each animal of the zodiac contain 5 elements and Fire is the main element of Snake. But it's a Water year so the Fire in the Snake is subdued by Water. Water nourishes Wood and Fire consumes Wood. So this year there's energy to gain and energy to spend. Sounds like a "just fine" fortune reading. I guess that's better than gaining nothing at all, right?

Snake will bring more innovation and creativity to the already artistic Rabbit. It's gonna be a busy year for me and I'm actually feeling it since the last holiday hehe.

However there's a Lonely Star appearing this year (yeah there's such a thing). That means separation from someone or something. But the Female Wood of Rabbit and Male Metal of Snake have an attraction so new relationships can be found this year. So it's really gonna be a so-so year. Hehehe

So what's your fortune this year? Whatever it may be, if you want something good to happen then do something good to make it happen. Wishing you all the best in the year of the Black Sssssnake!
