Project Vintage Army Bike:
Ready to Roll

Done! My once red and chrome 150cc cruiser is now a mock vintage army bike hehe. The single color seem to have emphasized its shape. It also made the bike look more compact.

I added a wash of umber using tinted flat lacquer, with a brush. The purpose of which is to change the hue of the new green color, which was more pine green than olive green. Because I used a brush, I produced an uneven texture of daubs and brush strokes which kinda gave the effect of sanded rusty metal. Would have been perfect if it was highly matte. But the flat lacquer still produced a sheen.

Anyway I'm happy with how it turned out. The bike has been turning heads and receiving compliments already.  ^_^ So what's next? Finding a matching helmet!
